(1965) Graduated from and earned his PhD at the Faculty of Architecture in Zagreb. He is a tenured professor at the Faculty of Architecture in Zagreb and visiting lecturer at the Faculties of Architecture in Belgrade, Ljubljana and Split. In 1992 he founded the architectural office Randić-Turato with Saša Randić, and in 2009 he founded Arhitektonski biro Turato. He is a four-time recipient of the Viktor Kovačić Award, as well as Drago Galić, Vladimir Nazor and Piranesi Awards. Nine of his projects have been nominated for the Mies van der Rohe Award. He represented Croatia at the 10th and 12th edition of the Biennale di Venezia.
