Dejan Miljković, Serbia

Dejan Miljković (1967, Belgrade)—full professor and architect. He graduated in 1994 from the Faculty of Architecture, University of Belgrade. Since 1997, he has been employed at the Department of Architecture of the Faculty of Architecture in Belgrade.

His professional work focuses on designing buildings in the fields of culture, commercial buildings, and housing, as well as on the reconstruction and revitalization of heritage sites.

He is the author of numerous completed buildings in Belgrade, the most notable of which include: the reconstruction of the Yugoslav Drama Theater, the reconstruction and revitalization of the Nebojša Tower at the Belgrade Fortress and part of the Riverside Rampart, commercial buildings in Nemanjina Street and Bulevar Oslobođenja, and residential buildings in Heroja Tepića, Brzakova, Tetovska, Čolak Antina, and Senjačka streets.

He has received numerous awards in international and national architectural and urban planning competitions, as well as professional recognitions, the most significant of which include: the Grand Award for Lifetime Achievement of the Union of Architects of Serbia, he Grand Prix of the Salon of Architecture, the City of Belgrade Award, the Annual Award of the Union of Architects of Serbia, the Architecture Award of the company Novosti, the Award of the Belgrade Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the Ranko Radović Annual Award.

His completed works, competition entries, and projects have been published in professional monographs and exhibited at numerous international and national exhibitions, including those held in Belgrade, Novi Sad, Venice, Seoul, Prague, Barcelona, Berlin, and Vienna.

Since 2024, he has been a corresponding member of the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts (SANU).
