Ida Križaj Leko
Born in 1983 in Zagreb where she graduated from the Faculty of Architecture in 2008.
During her studies, she worked in various architectural offices and participated through various author collaborations in architectural competitions and workshops.
She moved to Rijeka in 2009 and gained professional experience in AB Randić-Turato and AB Turato. In 2012 she started her own independent practice based in Rijeka. Her architectural work focuses on both fiction and reality. She was part of the project team working on the sports hall and square in Krk, which won the 2014 Viktor Kovačić Award. She also won the 2018 Bernardo Bernardi Award for the interior design of RiHub in Rijeka, in collaboration with Ana Boljar. She is an external associate of DeltaLab – Center for Urban Transition, Architecture and Urbanism at the University of Rijeka. She is also part of the team that will represent Croatia at the Venice Biennale – the 17th International Architecture Exhibition 2021.
