Mundo Frágil – ENG
Mundo Frágil by Bêka & Lemoine
The program also includes the European premiere of Mundo Frágil, a documentary film dedicated to Smiljan Radić, by the internationally acclaimed artistic and filmmaking duo Ila Bêka and Louise Lemoine.
Their work lies at the intersection of film, art and architecture, and their entire film collection was recently acquired by the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York. Filmed in 2026, Mundo Frágil is an intimate cinematic journey through Chile, from the Atacama Desert to the mountainous landscapes of the Cordillera. The film offers a rare insight into Radić’s creative world, exploring his relationship with landscape and materials, as well as his concept of fragile architecture.
The film had its world premiere at MoMA in New York in October 2026, as part of the opening programme of the Architecture and Design Film Festival.
The screening will be followed by a Q&A with Bêka & Lemoine.
